The Grid Championship Night is a produced, in-person Las Vegas sim racing league. Identical equipment, seeded groups, live race control and clear stewarding turn every Thursday into something worth showing up for.

New racers are welcome. You do not need a racing license or a home simulator—just the willingness to race clean and learn.

Three sessions.

Two groups of seven keep the track clear and the racing close. Every driver progresses to a final, so one mistake never ends your night.

    Check-in & setup

    Meet race control, adjust your rig and complete driver orientation.

  2. 02

    Practice & qualifying

    Group A and Group B each put seven drivers on track for equal time under locked conditions.

    Heat races

    Race for position. The top three in each heat advance, plus one qualifying wildcard.

  4. 04

    Challenger Final

    Seven drivers race for class honors, championship points and the next step up.

  5. 05

    Championship Final

    Seven finalists. One feature race. Cash is paid after the steward review.

EquipmentRace control assigns and calibrates rigs. Hardware concerns must be reported before qualifying.

Do I need previous sim racing experience?

No. New drivers receive an orientation and are seeded with appropriate competition. Clean, respectful driving matters more than owning a home simulator.

How can 14 drivers race on eight simulators?

Group A and Group B each have seven drivers and alternate on seven active simulators. The eighth simulator stays calibrated and ready as the hot spare in case equipment needs attention.

Does everyone get to race a final?

Yes. Heat results place drivers into either the Challenger Final or Championship Final, so everyone has a meaningful last race.

How are the seven Championship finalists selected?

The top three from each heat advance. The remaining place goes to the fastest eligible qualifying driver who did not automatically advance.

When are cash prizes paid?

After the Championship Final and steward review. First place earns $150, second earns $100 and third earns $50, subject to the published competition rules.

Are member spots automatic?

No. The field is limited to 14 drivers. Included member entries require advance registration and confirmation from The Grid.
